Delete your data

Ler em português

Vozport (voice translator for Android and iPhone) is provided by 68.216.024 Victor Rosa Lima (MEI), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 68.216.024/0001-16, address Rua João Antônio Morato do Amaral, 225, Santa Rita, Piracicaba/SP, CEP 13423-258, Brazil. Vozport has no account or sign-up: there is no name, e-mail or password to delete. Your voice and typed text are only processed to translate and are not stored, unless you turned on "Help improve the AI".

1. Delete it yourself in the app (immediately)

  1. "Help improve the AI" data: Settings › Privacy and data › Delete my training data. This deletes all the recordings, transcripts and translations you shared and withdraws your consent.
  2. Usage statistics: Settings › Privacy and data › turn off Send anonymous usage stats. Nothing new is sent after that.
  3. Conversation and audio on your device: Settings › Clear conversation and Clear voice cache. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything stored on the device.

2. Ask us to delete everything else (by e-mail)

  1. In the app, open Settings › About and copy the Anonymous ID. Without an account, it is the only way to find your data.
  2. Write to contato@vrosa.com.br with the subject "Delete my data" and paste the Anonymous ID.
  3. We delete the data linked to that ID and confirm by e-mail within the legal deadlines (15 days under the LGPD; one month under the GDPR).

3. What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted on request: usage statistics and session recordings (PostHog), "Help improve the AI" data, the subscription record at our provider RevenueCat (your purchase stays in your Apple or Google account, and "Restore purchases" brings the subscription back) and our support messages with you.

Kept for a limited time, then deleted automatically:

  • Free-phrase counters (by anonymous ID and by a hash of the device), used to prevent abuse of the free plan: up to about 13 months after the last use.
  • The record of your "Help improve the AI" consent choice: for as long as needed to prove it.
  • Application logs (pseudonymised ID and technical data, no content and no IP): a few days.
  • Purchase and payment records kept by Apple or Google under their own policies, and any data we must keep to meet legal obligations.

The retention periods of everything are in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
